Welcome to TweepTown!
Register now for TweepTown: a Twitter game taking place in Drogheda on Saturday 19th November 2011 to compete for a prize totalling €3,000.
The prize includes luxury gifts plus vouchers redeemable at a range of shops, including clothes shops, shoe shops, craft shops, electrical stores, bookstores, hair salons, opticians, gardening shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés.
This fantastic TweepTown game is part of the TV programme "Local Heroes - A Town Fights Back", Wednesdays at 8.30pm on RTE1.
How To Play The Game
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is:
(a) Visit Drogheda on Saturday 19th November and go to at least 5 of the participating stores (all within walking distance of each other). You’re encouraged to visit all of them.
(b) In each retail outlet, take a picture of the product that you find most interesting / innovative / eye-catching / original / fun.
(c) Share your photos on Twitter with the following information: (i) include the hashtag #tweeptown at the start of your tweet (ii) name the store in which you took the photo and (iii) say why you chose that item.
Selecting The Winner
We will track the entries using the hashtag #tweeptown. A judging panel of three prominent businesspeople from Drogheda will select their favourite photograph based on the criteria: interesting / innovative / eye-catching / original / fun. If several similar photographs are submitted, the reason given in the tweet about why it was chosen will be a factor in choosing the winner. The judges’ decision is final.
